Trade Tech is pleased to introduce a series of Import Control System 2 Entry Summary Declaration (ICS2-ENS) seminars worldwide, including two of our newest venues: Vietnam and Korea. Through our extensive international network, these sessions will be conducted by local experts in convenient time zones. We believe participants will find the webinars highly informative and beneficial.

European Union member states have implemented a harmonized system called Import Control System 2, or ICS2. The rollout is occurring in multiple phases, with the Ocean segment scheduled to go live this year.

ICS2 mandates that all Bill of Lading issuers submit advance cargo information via an ENS filing to mitigate security and safety risks for shipments entering the EU. The ENS filing must contain a full set of Entry Summary Declaration data for goods destined for the EU. Trade Tech has built direct digital connections to EU Customs systems, enabling cargo owners, Freight Forwarders, and NVOCCs to seamlessly submit their ENS filings through the Trade Tech platform.

Non-compliance with ICS2 will result in enforcement actions by Customs, including potential detention of freight at EU borders. Goods that fail to meet ICS2 requirements will not be cleared by the Customs authorities.

For years, Trade Tech has closely followed ICS2 developments and has proactively integrated these filing processes into our platform.
